On this day in 2012, I did my first ever paid photography gig. It was at a car dealership in Greenville, MI, and I had been living in Grand Rapids for about four months. I wasn’t even using cell phone navigation at that point, but still writing down driving directions. 10 years later, I am still at it! With me at nearly all of my 2,200+ shoots over the last decade has been my trusty Manfrotto tripod, Canon 6D, and VW Golf TDI, which has traveled over 137,000 miles to and from jobs.
